Windows On Ferry Circle Most of the outstanding stained glass windows of Upper West Arts Center are over 100 years old, installed around or before 1898 by Buffalo native George M. Booth. After more than a century of wear, a bit of vandalism, and some inadequate repair they are in need of thorough restoration. There are nearly one hundred precious windows in the building ranging from small, narrow stairway windows to the grand rosette window gracing Richmond Avenue. Each has been assessed for wear and damage, resulting in the creation of a master restoration plan which details the work to be done and associated costs. Please help us reach our goal of $100,000 to restore the center’s beautiful windows. In addition to gifts at various donor levels you may want to have a specific window rededicated in your honor (or to the memory, or in honor, of anyone you wish to designate.) The seven leaded windows in the second floor gallery have already been so rededicated. The large concert hall features a dozen elegant windows, each of which may be rededicated, and the seven outstanding windows in the community meeting room will also be restored and rededicated.
