Can you believe it? We're celebrating our 45th season this year ... and I promise it's going to be one for the record books.
I hope you'll join us as we kick off the season with WIPEOUT, the hilarious and touching comedy from Aurora Real de Asua. This breakout hit was first produced last season as a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere, and this season is playing the Alleyway and more theatres across the country.
If you're from out of town, haven't been to see a show here in a while, never got off the couch since lockdown ended, or if you're one of our loyal subscribers... I know you're going to love this show and our season.

Maxim Mazumdar New Play Award history
The annual international competition was founded in 1989 by Alleyway Theatre in memory of Canadian actor/playwright Maxim Mazumdar (1953-1988).
Mazumdar’s many contributions to the early growth of Alleyway Theatre were artistically invaluable and instrumental in shaping a continuing relationship with Canadian theatre. He gave final performance here at the Alleyway in the premiere of his original musican March 27, 1988.
