Amy Larimer and Andrey Ramírez are Tangled!‍

Two fearless improvisors—and passionate tango aficionados—dive into the rich intersections between tango and theatrical improv. In this one-of-a-kind performance, the absurd meets the elegant, the awkward tangos with the sublime, and stories come to life through pure movement.

Each show begins with a title suggested by you, the audience. From there, Amy and Andrey spin a web of three interwoven, wordless stories—told entirely through physicality and connected by the rhythm and passion of tango. No two performances are the same!

Amyand Andrey started collaborating based on their shared interests in both tango and improv. Amy Larimer is a dancer, choreographer and improviser and is currently one half of The Raving Jaynes: Improvised Dance/Theater with her bud Jamie Graham! They perform regularly in New York City and have performed in over 35 festivals throughout the US and abroad including IMPRO Amsterdam, Mount Olymprov Improv and Improv Fest Ireland! Andrey Ramírez is a professional actor, director and commercial announcer, for film, television and social networks. He is a founding member, as well as co-director/producer of mpromptu Teatro in San Jose, Costa Rica. He has participated in numerous improv formats and directed projects such as the Impro Big Band, Collage, Follow Me and Hell City.
